It appears that J is starting to remember his dreams. Two days ago he woke up from his nap ecstatically yelling about he and Lighting McQueen at a hockey game. As I walked into his room, I heard him saying, "GO! GO!" And when he saw me, he explained, "Ligh'nin Aqueen go to hockey game! Ligh'nin Aqueen and Joseph go hockey game and GO GO PREDS! C'mon guys!" He persisted to cheer for the Preds for the next half hour, at least...Each time reminding me that Lightning McQueen was cheering, too.
Yesterday, a dream woke him up mid-nap and he was crying, but I got him back to sleep after a few minutes. Then, when he woke up after the nap he was telling me about playing with Elliot and Danielle in San Diego. He and Elliot had played outside for a while, apparently, and he wanted to know where Elliot was. I explained that Elliot and Danielle were in San Diego and that he had dreamed about them, but that didn't quite sink in. He got out of bed and looked for them for a few minutes...Until he found a tractor.
