Tuesday, June 3, we woke up early and drove to Anaheim to spend the day at Disneyland. The 3rd was also Pete's birthday, and we planned to meet Peteypotpie and his family at the park. They flew down from Santa Rosa to spend the week as Disneylanders. It was wonderful to see Pete, Amber and Wyatt (who had GROWN so much!!!), and to meet Wade, the youngest of the Stringfellow crew. Because Joseph doesn't sleep in a stroller anymore, we were bracing ourselves to have to leave the park around 2 or 3 in the afternoon, if we could stretch him through his naptime that long before he completely broke down. But, as Danielle said, a Disneyland miracle occurred and Joseph fell asleep in his stroller! He and Elliot both slept for 2 hours, so AB rode rides (using his FastPass...We were so vip) while D and I hung out, strolled and visited. The boys played hard before and after their naps, and we ended up staying until 7:30 or so. We were actually leaving the park at 6:40, when we were informed of the parade that started at 7:00. When you've driven that far to spend the day at Disney with two 2-year-olds, you might as well milk it for all it's worth! And we did.
